Looking for something fun for your child to do this summer? Send them to summer camp at Cambria Stables! Our camp program runs for multiple weeks from June-August at our beautiful farm in Yardley, Pa. The camp is held right in the barn area, so your kids will be around the horses all day!
Daily riding lessons are taught by our experienced Instructors, during these lessons the kids will learn the basics of horseback riding. Multiple experienced staff members will help teach the beginner riders (even if it is their first time on a horse!) to ensure the campers are getting a fun and safe experience. Horsemanship lessons are taught daily by our knowledgeable counselors.
Horsemanship allows a chance for the kids to learn about horses using fun hands on activities and games. Some of the topics covered are horse breeds, first aid, basic care, and grooming. All the lessons are taught in a enjoyable way including games and prizes.
Our full day of camp runs from 9am-3pm and includes: a 1 hour long riding lessons each day, a daily Fun lesson, a daily horsemanship lesson, arts and crafts, themed days, and lots of games and activities.
We also offer the opportunity for campers to compete in a horse show (optional show every Thursday at Fox Heath Farm) and a horse show at our farm on Fridays (Prizes are awarded to everyone. Parents and family members are encouraged to come!) PLUS we have entertaining theme days such as Adopt-A-Horse day, Wacky Wednesdays, Costume contests, and our Friday Fun show! We also offer pizza to all the campers for lunch on Fridays.
* Our daily "Fun Lessons" include activities such as: Riding bareback - Trail rides around the farm - in hand pony jumping - and Games on horseback!

The cost of a one week session is $475.00 per camper. A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is needed with registration. Discounts are available for multiple campers/weeks, please contact us for more information.
We also offer 1/2 day options for children aged 4-6 years old. Half day camp runs from 9am-12pm morning session, or 12-3pm afternoon session. The half day option is only available for younger children or children that have a disability which limits them to be able to do a full day of camp.
The price of a 1/2 day camp session is $325.00 per week with a $75.00 non refundable deposit.
Our advanced camp offers our older and more advanced children an opportunity to expand their horse knowledge and riding skills through a week long camp. This camp is a great educational experience for young equestrians that want to learn more about horse health, barn management, and being a horse owner.
The camp is for riders that already have prior riding experience. During week, the campers will be able to participate in hands on demos from equine professionals such as veterinarians, dentists and farriers. And riding lessons touching on proper flat work, gymnastics, horse showing, and training of the horse. Fun lessons include- riding in the park, mock IEA shows, and bareback riding.
Advanced camp is $475.00 per camper, with a $75.00 deposit. Register today to reserve your child's spot!
We will be holding another year of spring break camp at Cambria Stables. The camp will run from 9:00-3:00 (before/after care available if needed) for full day, and 9-12:00 for 1/2 day. Held very similar to our summer camp, campers will ride 2x a day, have a daily horsemanship hands on learning experience with the horses, we will also have crafts, games and prizes, and lots more! A fun way for the kids to spend a day off from school!
The dates for camp are: 4/3, 4/4, 4/5, 4/6, 4/7, and 4/10.
Pricing is: $100 per day/camper for full day
$70 per day/camper for 1/2 day
If you send your child for 3 or more camp days, receive a $20 discount!
To sign up, please message or Email Erin with your child’s info, there will be a $50 deposit per day to hold the spot Camp being run each day is dependent on weather and amount of interest. Days may be canceled due to poor weather or less then 5 campers interested in attending! Deposits will be refunded for canceled days.
We recognize not all parents can drop off or pick up their children during our 9am and 3pm camp hours. Parents may sign-up for before and after camp care, which allows campers to arrive as early as 7am and stay as late as 7pm for an additional fee.
The aftercare program is run by our qualified counselors with an adult on the premises. During the time your child is in their care, the counselors will be giving them their undivided attention- playing games and activities with them to keep them entertained until camp starts or until they are picked up.
Please let us know at registration if you need additional camp care.
After hours rate- $10 per hour
Below are the recommended items each child should bring with them each day to camp. Please remember to label all belongings and to keep expensive items (such as cell phones or tablets) at home.
- 2 or more large water bottles (children will go through a lot of water during camp)
- Packed lunch Monday-Thursday - Friday is pizza day, but if do not wish your child to have pizza, please pack a lunch that day as well.
- Clothes for riding - Long, tight fitting pants and a boot with a heel
- Clothes for play- Cooler clothes for them to change into such as shorts for sandals
- Helmet if you have one (must be ASTM/SEI certified) otherwise we have helmets for use
- Sunscreen if you need it applied during the day
- Any medications they may require
- Bathing suit and towel (we will notify you on days you will need this if we do water activities)
Every Thursday campers are given the opportunity to participate in a horse show with kids from other camps. This is held at a farm called Fox Heath located in Furlong, PA. Each week, any campers interested in participating will drive with us or meet us at the show.
There they are able to compete in fun beginner classes. Family is welcome to come watch, and ribbons are awarded to all participants. Classes are very beginner friendly, even if your child just started riding. This is an optional camp additive.
Any campers who don't wish to participate, will stay with camp staff and have a regular day of camp. More information will be provided at the start of each camp week, and parents are asked to make a decision about their child's participation by Wednesday morning.
We do charge an additional fee to cover show and trailering costs, to participate in the show it is $65.00 per camper.
